Computerized Chassis Weights wheel rate problems

One problem with software is it assumes we humans know what we are doing. Typically wheel rates on the front suspension (not including the sway bar) range anywhere from ¼ to ½ of the spring rate. Your car may be slightly outside this range, but the majority of suspensions fall in this range.

When using the Chassis Weight software if you encounter unexpectedly low front wheel rates there are several things to check.

Verify that your measurements and input on the Motion Ration screens are correct. If they are then you have a data entry error in the front roll center section of the program. You may have two numbers transposed (swapped) or only part of the number was entered (i.e. .375 rather than 15.375).
